ONE TONIC, SEVEN MOODS. drone on, slide the brightness, watch one note move — and decide for yourself what each mode feels like.

HOW TO USE IT — NO MUSIC THEORY NEEDED
  1. hit DRONE. a low note starts humming and never stops. that's your home base — everything you hear next is heard against that hum.
  2. click the dots on the neck. every dot is a note. the numbers are just steps: the home note is 1, then you climb 2, 3, 4… up to 7 and you're home again. a b in front of a number means that step sits one notch lower.
  3. drag the brightness slider (or press ← →). each step swaps exactly one note — watch the dot move on the neck, then click it and hear the whole color shift over the same hum.
  4. keys 1–7 play the steps without the mouse. the teal dot is the note that gives the current mode its face — start there.

dot legend: solid = home note · teal = the character note · outlined = the rest of the family · faint dashed = outsiders (click one and hear it rub against the hum). that's the whole game: hum on, one note moves, and you decide what each mode feels like. in your own words — nobody else's labels.

tools are fun. but a record deserves a human mix.
