ONE TONIC, SEVEN MOODS. drone on, slide the brightness, watch one note move — and decide for yourself what each mode feels like.
HOW TO USE IT — NO MUSIC THEORY NEEDED
- hit DRONE. a low note starts humming and never stops. that's your home base — everything you hear next is heard against that hum.
- click the dots on the neck. every dot is a note. the numbers are just steps: the home note is 1, then you climb 2, 3, 4… up to 7 and you're home again. a b in front of a number means that step sits one notch lower.
- drag the brightness slider (or press ← →). each step swaps exactly one note — watch the dot move on the neck, then click it and hear the whole color shift over the same hum.
- keys 1–7 play the steps without the mouse. the teal dot is the note that gives the current mode its face — start there.
dot legend: solid = home note · teal = the character note · outlined = the rest of the family · faint dashed = outsiders (click one and hear it rub against the hum). that's the whole game: hum on, one note moves, and you decide what each mode feels like. in your own words — nobody else's labels.

tools are fun. but a record deserves a human mix.
