REFERENCE MASTERING IN YOUR BROWSER. nothing leaves your machine.

Mastering is the final polish. it makes your track as loud and balanced as the records you love, on any system.

  1. 1. Drop in your mix.
  2. 2. Drop in a reference: a released song whose sound you want.
  3. 3. Hit master. it copies the reference’s tone, loudness and stereo width onto your track.
  4. 4. A/B the result, download MP3 or WAV.

What it does to your file, in order:

  • EQ: balances the frequencies (bass / mids / treble) to match the reference’s tone.
  • Multiband compressor: evens out the dynamics separately in the lows, mids and highs, so nothing jumps out.
  • Stereo image: sets how wide it sounds across left/right, per frequency.
  • Limiter: pushes the overall loudness up to the target without clipping.
MULTIBAND + STEREO IMAGE

width is taken from the reference per band; HARMONIC ALIGN transposes its curve onto your mix’s key (experimental).

tools are fun. but a record deserves a human.
