REFERENCE MASTERING IN YOUR BROWSER. nothing leaves your machine.
Mastering is the final polish. it makes your track as loud and balanced as the records you love, on any system.
- 1. Drop in your mix.
- 2. Drop in a reference: a released song whose sound you want.
- 3. Hit master. it copies the reference’s tone, loudness and stereo width onto your track.
- 4. A/B the result, download MP3 or WAV.
What it does to your file, in order:
- EQ: balances the frequencies (bass / mids / treble) to match the reference’s tone.
- Multiband compressor: evens out the dynamics separately in the lows, mids and highs, so nothing jumps out.
- Stereo image: sets how wide it sounds across left/right, per frequency.
- Limiter: pushes the overall loudness up to the target without clipping.
MULTIBAND + STEREO IMAGE
width is taken from the reference per band; HARMONIC ALIGN transposes its curve onto your mix’s key (experimental).
tools are fun. but a record deserves a human.
